RSPB South Stack Cliffs Reserve

With binoculars & telescopes provided at the viewing points, you can enjoy all the sights and sounds of this beautiful reserve and all that nature can offer! See Razorbills, Puffins and Guillemots raising their young, and wild Choughs – not forgetting the rather impressive lighthouse perched on the edge of this rocky outcrop! (Dogs cannot go to the lighthouse itself due to nesting birds).

South Stack Reserve is dog friendly and popular with all types of walkers too, not just bird lovers. There are many stunning walks to enjoy, however the ones centered around Elin’s Tower and the Visitor Centre are the best maintained on the reserve. Along any one of these trails, you will pass through heathland and coastal terrain including cliff edges so do be careful! You can opt for a guided walk if you are unsure of where to go, however there are way markers along all of the routes to help you out. You can take your dog with you if he is kept on a lead and you scoop any poop!

There are good facilities here so you should want for nothing during your day. There is a cafe and RSPB shop, parking, You an also hire your own binoculars if you are serious about not missing anything!

The Reserve is easy to find, just hop on the A55 to Holyhead following the signs for the town centre, then pick up the Brown signs
